Meet Debra
Debra Pascali-Bonaro is a Debra Pascali-Bonaro is a world-renowned inspirational speaker, podcaster, filmmaker, doula trainer, childbirth educator, and author. Debra’s podcast, Orgasmic Birth breaks down to heals barriers, and opens the door to share secrets to more love and intimacy in birth and parenting. She brings together her passion for pleasure in every aspect of life with her Jersey-Girl attitude of talking about what no one is talking about! Debra is a mother, grandmother and featured expert in parenting journals and media around the world.
Debra Pascali-Bonaro is also Co-Chair of the International Childbirth Initiative and Chair of the International MotherBaby Childbirth Initiative both of which promote safe, respectful childbirth maternity care. She is a Lamaze International childbirth educator, birth and postpartum doula trainer with DONA International, Director of the award-winning documentary Orgasmic Birth: The Best-Kept Secret and co-writer of “Orgasmic Birth: Your Guide to a Safe, Satisfying and Pleasurable Birth”, Author of The Ultimate Guide To Sex After Baby: Secrets to Love and Intimacy and the Founder & President of the revolutionary online childbirth class Pleasurable Birth Essentials which prepares expectant mothers, fathers, and partners to be positively prepared for birth and focuses on the intimate and sacred nature of birth.

Meet Beatriz
Beatriz is a 41 year old mother of a 12-year-old boy. She has a Degree in Mexican Folkloric Dance, and is a Midwife, a doula and massage therapist as a vocation. She was born in Mexico City, and has been walking the path of Toltequity and medicinal plants for several years. Her great-grandmother was a healer, and she left her this lineage of a medicine woman, that is why she decided to walk this path, with all the respect for everything that is sacred.
Mexican traditions have guided a large part of her life. She accompanies physical and emotional female processes, such as menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, fertility, menarche and more, through massages, fertility treatments, sobada (mayan massages), prenatal consultations, birth care, herbal baths, closed with rebozo and more.
She’s passionate about astrology, Jungian and transpersonal psychology. She loves magic, nature and profoundness.
Meet Ale
Ale is a mother of 10-year-old Mariano, Midwife, Doula and Childbirth Educator. She was born in Monterrey and has traveled to several states of Mexico with her son creating her own learning path in Midwifery, trying to find a balance between the practices of professional midwifery and the wisdom of traditional medicine.
She has hd the opportunity to learn during her travels and from so many loved midwives and friends, from the use of medicinal plants, flowers, sobada maya, herbal baths and the use of the rebozo, elements that she considers very important and necessary to offer a loving and deep accompaniment. Always supporting women to find themselves and become their own guides on the path of transformation that motherhood brings.
She currently works as an independent Midwife and in collaboration with other colleagues and Birth Centers. She accompanies women during their pregnancies, childbirth, postpartum and their processes of female sexuality.

9:15 – 10:15am Discovering where does my intention to go along with women´s life processes come from?

10:15 – 11:15am Sobada: The body as a sacred temple and chart of
our memories. The mirror dance, how do I reflect myself through the process of others?
11:15 – 11:30am 15 minute break
11:30 – 12:30pm Sobada Practice, as a comfort measure during pregnancy and childbirth.
12:30 – 1:30pm Meal Break
1:30 – 2:30pm Honoring the rebozo as an extension of our hearts. Rebozo Singing Circle for sharing love and contention
2:30 – 3:30pm Learning comfort measures with the rebozo for pregnancy and childbirth
3:30 – 4:00pm The temazcal as a medicine for a proper closure. Getting into the Temazcal to understand its meaning
January 21st - Day 2 Evening --- Temazcal with the Midwives
4:00 – 6:00pm Break and preparation of the Temazcal ritual. Blessing the fire and stones, preparing intentions
6:00 – 8:00pm Temazcal with the Midwives
Debra your workshop was an awesome experience for me. I absolutely enjoyed every single minute of it. Every skill and new knowledge I learnt will be super useful for my childbirth classes and as a doula I believe they can achieve a richer and more enjoyable/ orgasmic experience in their birth.
