When I started out as a doula 7 years ago, I was a single mom with 1 and 3.5 year old boys. I had just moved to a new city and the closest family and help was 2.5 hours away.
But, I was very ambitious and determined to make a living doing something that mattered to me and helped other women too.
I even had a college student move into our extra bedroom for free in exchange for taking care of my boys when I had to go to births. This arrangement was a smashing success.
I had a full client load and I was making it doing what I loved. But there was one thing…I wanted to take my message online and get it into the ears of more women – women all over the world. I wanted to take my business online.
“I wanted to help women regain their mojo, sexuality, body love and sexual confidence.”
After working at the birth center for a little over a year, I struck out on my own and became fascinated with helping women in the postpartum regain their mojo, sexuality, body love, and sexual confidence.
I had seen so many women struggle in this area feeling like they were broken or that their sexuality had disappeared and pleasure was only for their partners now.
This made me so sad because I knew better and I wanted to help them!
This began my online entrepreneur journey…taking my message of birth, postpartum, sex and motherhood online. And it absolutely would not have been possible had it not been for signing up for B-school with Marie Forleo and Debra!
B-school was the program that gave me the structure and framework, without having had any prior business trainings, on how to set up and run a successful business with an online presence.
I learned the key elements of business...
how to set up a website, what sort of content to offer and how to get it out to the world.
I got organized and planned out my first editorial calendar...
learned how to set up an email system and get subscribers.
In short, I learned how to take my message further and help more people.
Since then, my business has totally transformed.
I moved on from doula work (except for close friends and those that beg me) and have become a sex/love/relationship coach and a jade egg teacher alone – my true calling. I do all of my sessions as a coach online and have become fully functional thanks to the knowledge that I gained in B-school and the Birth Your Dreams Team.
If you’re thinking of gaining an online presence as a doula, midwife or birth worker in any capacity, B-school is absolutely worth the investment and the sisterhood.
If lack of confidence, low libido, or guilt and shame around your sexuality are the cause of your bedroom woes,
(the hot, wild sex you never have any more, or the transition into motherhood that sucked your libido dry), you need Lacey. She’s an integrated sex, love & relationship coach for soulful and successful women who want to feel confident, powerful, and sexy in their own skin.
As a certified sex coach, Tantra, jade egg teacher, Lacey uses deep transformational tools and techniques based in modern coaching modalities, and ancient tantric wisdom and Taoist practices to help women like you reconnect with your sensual self, discover your orgasmic genius inside, and experience deep intimacy & connection with your partner.
