My dear friend, colleague, and inspirational wise-woman, Ina May Gaskin recently joined me in New Jersey at my home and we chatted about many things in life – challenges, pain, fear, relationships – you name it. She has attended so many births as an amazing midwife, and helped women and their partners through the challenges that pregnancy, birth and parenthood brings.

She has such amazing insights that she shares through her wonderful books and lectures, and I was lucky to have a chance to ask her about two of the most common questions about birth.

She has such beautiful thoughts on what it means to re-frame fear and pain, and I hope you will watch

I’d love to hear how you overcome fear and pain in your life. Have you tested out any of Ina May’s suggestions? Have you ever “laughed off” pain?
